Recommended: Easiest Arrival is with Bay Roamers Water Taxi, from Homer to our dock, and we will take you to the Danny J dock for your return to Homer on the 10 AM Danny J. trip.
Cost is $70.00 per adult R/T, children under 13 $40.00 This is only good for Bay Roamers Water Taxi, Gull Island tours can be arranged.



Aboard the Kachemak Bay Ferry, M/V “Danny J” has 2 runs daily leaving the Homer harbor on the 12:00 noon tour or the 5:00 pm. dinner run. Leaving Homer Harbor at the bottom of Ramp 1, (the ramp below the Salty Dawg Lighthouse); the noon tour will take you by the Gull Island bird sanctuary. Danny J reservations are made through The Halibut Cove Kiosk . Please check in with The Halibut Cove Kiosk at least 45 minutes before departure time. (I recommend more time to allow you to pick up your boarding pass and get your luggage to the dock in time, the ferry will not wait).

Noon Price - Adult $57.50
5:00 PM Transportation - $34.50.
These prices are for round trip, for over night guests the return to Homer would be 10:00 AM. Prices do not include sales tax or meals.

Due to the changing fuel price all transportation rates are subject to change without notice.

If arriving on the Danny J. we try to meet each guest at the Danny J dock however please be prepared for the short walk.
