Homer to Seldovia: Water Taxi, Ferry or Small Plane

No road reaches Seldovia. From Homer, a water taxi, the state ferry or a short flight crosses Kachemak Bay, and each one suits a different load, schedule and kind of day.

Float Planes to Halibut Cove

A float plane is the other way across Kachemak Bay: a short flight from Homer's Beluga Lake seaplane base instead of a boat crossing, when weather and schedule allow it.

The trailheads of Kachemak Bay State Park sit across the water from Halibut Cove, reached the same way the cove itself is: by a water taxi booked from the Homer harbor.
